About Me
I am an Accounting PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. I aim to produce research with practical implications for practitioners, investors, and regulators. My current research uses analytical modeling to investigate the real effects of regulatory enforcement and examine how managerial behavioral traits influence earnings manipulation and corporate governance decisions.
Before beginning my PhD journey, I completed a Bachelor of Management in Accounting at Xiamen University and went on to earn a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
Outside of academia, I enjoy a variety of activities that keep me active and creative, including playing badminton, traveling, painting, hiking, and playing the violin. I also value quality time with my family and friends.
